HARTING.
A READING ROOM.—On Thursday evening, the 15th inst., a public meeting was held in the school room of this place, the Rev. H. D. Gordon in the chair, to take into consideration the establishing of the proposed reading room, &c.; at which we were pleased to see many of the gentlemen and farmers of the parish present. There appeared to be a general desire for its being established, and a provisional committee was appointed to make the necessary arrangements.
