PETERSFIELD.]—HARVEST HOME—This celebration took place at the seat of Wm. Richard Wedgwood, Esq., Greyshot Hall, on Monday evening last, when upwards of 30 of his labourers and servants enjoyed the good things of this life. After the cloth was removed the usual patriotic toasts were given. The health of the founder of the feast was proposed by his bailiff, which Mr. Wedgwood acknowledged in a neat speech, in the course of which he dwelt on the pleasing fact that during the year his farm operations had been carried on to his satisfaction, and that he was happy at seeing them altogether, and hoped the same spirit would exist this, the coming year. The health of Mrs. Wedgwood and her children were not forgotten. The mention of this lady’s name elicited round upon round of cheers, and Mr. Wedgwood again expressed his thanks. After an evening spent in the happiest manner, the entertainment was brought to a close by the labourers and servants singing the national anthem.
