     NOTICE is hereby given,—That the Directors of the London and County Bank will OPEN a BANK at PETERSFIELD, in the Premises of Messrs. Hector and Lacy, on Wednesday, the 22nd December instant.

     All Persons who are Indebted to Messrs. HECTOR and LACY will please to Pay the Amount of their respective Debts to the London and County Bank, or obtain a transfer of the same to the said Bank; and all Persons to whom Messrs. HECTOR and LACY are Indebted, may receive the Amounts due to them, or have their Receipts or Pass-books exchanged for those of the London and County Bank. 

     The Notes of Messrs. Hector and Lacy will be placed to the credit of the Holders by the London and County, at Petersfield, or the amount paid to them on application either there, or at the London Establishment, 71, Lombard-street.

PETERSFIELD AND HAMPSHIRE BANK.

     AT a numerous Meeting of the Creditors of Messrs. HECTOR, LACY, and Co., Bankers, Petersfield, convened by Public Advertisement this 21st day of December, the following Resolution, proposed by FIELDER KING, Esq., and seconded by Mr. BOWSTEAD, as Agent to Sir Harry Featherstone, Bart. viz., "That having heard a statement of a negociation entered into by Messrs. Hector, Lacy, and Co., with the London and County Joint Stock Bank, the arrangements concluded with the said Company is perfectly satisfactory to the Creditors at large," was unanimously agreed to.

PETERSFIELD, 22nd December, 1841.

     AT a Meeting of the Inhabitants of Petersfield and the Neighbourhood, held pursuant to Public Notice, to receive a Deputation from the London Board of the London and County Bank, R. STEELE, Esq. in the Chair, after an exposition of the principles of the Company, and their method of doing Business, on the motion of J. BONHAM CARTER, Esq., and seconded by JAMES LIGHT, Esq., the following Resolution was carried unanimously:—

     Resolved—That this Meeting has heard with interest and satisfaction the explanation of the principles upon which the London and County Joint Stock Bank is founded, and that in the opinion of this Meeting the Branch now established at Petersfield will be highly beneficial to the Town and its Vicinity, and is deserving of public confidence and support. 


PETERSFIELD AND HAMPSHIRE BANK. 

     In consequence of the very satisfactory arrangements which have been made relative to this Banking Firm, a PUBLIC DINNER will be given to Messrs. HECTOR and LACY, at the Dolphin Inn, Petersfield, on Friday, the 7th January, 1842.
