ARSON.—Henry Carpenter, whose remand was reported last week, was brought up on Monday last before the Hon. J. J. Carnegie, when Mrs. Leman gave evidence corroborative of that of other witnesses; and Thomas Turner deposed that some time last winter he was working in the barn threshing with the prisoner, who said he had got Master Gale out, and if he could not get Master Leman out he would burn him out. Prisoner was committed for trial at the assizes.
