INSPECTORS FOR LIGHTING.—A meeting of ratepayers was held at the Townhall on Monday, for the purpose of passing the accounts and appointing inspectors for the ensuing year. The sum of £70 was voted for the current year, and three inspectors having retired by rotation, the following were elected to fill the vacancies :—Mr. Peskett, Mr. Duplock, and the Rev. M. A. Smelt.
