PETERSFIELD.
On Monday evening last a meeting was held in the Town Hall, to commemorate the Jubilee of the Church Missionary Society, which was very numerously attended. The meeting was addressed in the course of the evening by the Rev. J. M. Sumner (who was in the chair), Rev. F. M. Cunningham, and Rev. W. Sealy, by each of whom much highly interesting information was afforded. A colledtion was made at the close of the meeting, in aid of the Jubilee Fund, which this Society is endeavoring to raise, to be applied to the maintenance of disabled Missionaries, and the erection of a school for the children of Missionaries sent home by their parents.
