PETERSFIELD.
On Wednesday last a large parcel, weighing 2 cwt., consisting of woollen hose cuffs, lint, old linen, shirts &c., was despatched to Scutari Hospital for the use of the sick and wounded of those brave fellows who have so severely suffered in their country’s cause. The various articles were the contributions of many of the inhabitants of all classes of the town and neighbourhood, kindly assisted by some friends at Eastmeon.
