PETERSFIELD
LONDON AND COUNTY BANK.—The new building for this establishment, which has just been erected on the old site, is now so nearly completed that the business was transferred from the temporary offices on Tuesday last. The new offices are very spacious, and well fitted up with every possible convenience for the transaction of business. The building is very handsome, and does much credit to the architect, F. Chancellor, Esq., who also designed the new Corn Exchange immediately opposite the bank, and these both together tend greatly to the improvement of that part of the town. By a very singular and quite undesigned coincidence the new office was opened on the 60th anniversary of the first opening of the bank on that site. The London and County has carried on the business for the past 25 years.
