The welcome intelligence reached here on Wednesday last, containing the news, that Lord Egmont had withdraw his opposition, and that all was now amicable settled for carrying out the proposed Coultershaw, Midhurst and Petersfield Railway extention. This cannot be other than beneficial throughout the extent of traffic, and, will probably be the means of a further continuation westward from this town.
