PETERSFIELD.]—SHOCKING ACCIDENT.—On Saturday last, a poor man, living at Empshott, in the employ of J. W. Scott, Esq., of Rotherfield Park, was returning home with a four-horse team, when, by an accident in falling down, he was run over, breaking both thighs and legs, the bone protruding through one of the legs; but it appears the poor man is going on as well as can be expected, under the kind and skilful treatment of W. Peskett, Esq., and his son, Dr. W. Peskett.
