     CHASE—ROBERTS—On the 23rd instant, at Eastmeon Church, by the Rev. T. C. Kemp, Mr. William Chase, corn-merchant, of Petersfield, to Catherine Elizabeth, youngest daughter of R. Roberts, Esq., of Langrish Cottage.

     MARRIED.—On Thursday, the 23rd ult., at Eastmeon church, by the Rev. Thomas Cook Kemp, vicar of Eastmeon, Froxfield, and Steep, William Chase, Esq., of the London-road, Petersfield, and oldest son of John Chase, Esq., of Bowyer’s Place, Steep, to Miss Kate Robarts, youngest daughter of Richard Robarts, Esq., of Langrish Lodge, Eastmeon. The bride and bridegroom were accompanied to church by five bridesmaids, and a large number of personal friends, in seven carriages, and on their return to Langrish Lodge, a sumptuous dejeuner was given by the parents of the happy bride to a large party of friends specially invited to celebrate the happy event. The bride and bride-elect left In the after part of the day, in a travelling carriage, to spend a short time in the provinces. The bells of the different churches rang many peals during the day, at intervals.
