GREAT MEETING OF THE SUSSEX ARCHÆOLOGICAL SOCIETY.

     The annual gathering of this Society, which has been for some years now regarded as the county holiday of the year, was held on Thursday last, the point of assembling being the ancient town and port of Arundel, —a visit to the Roman remains at Bignor, some five or six miles farther, being included among the subsidiary arrangements.
