THE SCHEDULES.

     We are indebted to the kindness of the hon. member for Birmingham, for the following copy of the schedules of his proposed Reform measure, which reached us ‟in proof” last night. We need not say that it will be read with the liveliest interest by every friend of Reform throughout the country:—

SCHEDULE A.
BOROUGHS IN ENGLAND AND WALES, FIFTY-SIX IN NUiMBER, WHICH ARE TO CEASE TO RETURN ANY MEMBERS OR MEMBER TO SERVE IN PARLIAMENT.

     The column of direct taxes payable by each borough is made up from Parliamentary returns for the vear 1857, and includes Schedules A and D of the property and Income-tax (being the tax on real property, and on trades and professions), the tax on inhabited houses, the assessed taxes, and the land tax. The assessed taxes and the inhabited house tex are not levied in Ireland.

     Boroughs marked x were to have lost one member, and those marked xx were to have been wholly dis-franchised by the Government Bill of 1854.

     The column of L.10 electors includes L.8 rated electors in Ireland.
