LITTLEHAMPTON.
MR. EWER'S THEATRE.—Mr. Ewer and his talented company of comedians arrived here on Tuesday of last week, and on the evening of that day were welcomed by a full house, and have had good houses since. On the evening of Thursday (this day) there is to be a special performance, under distinguished patronage, and for the benefit of the funds of the Littlehampton band, which is now being organised with new and superior instruments. it is worthy of remark that Mr. Ewer has been now 17 years visiiting a district which has for the most part included the Isle of Wight, Petersfield, Portsmouth, Chichester, Bognor, Arundel, Littlehampton, Worthing, Shoreham, Angmering, &c., and that similar ground was occupied by his father for 13 years previously. The present company consists of 18 performers and five assistants, and nearly the whole of the artistes are the same as we have been accustomed to see on many past years. After staying about three weeks, they will leave for Angmering, and then winter at Worthing.
