THE ALMS-HOUSES.—These houses, now in course of erection by Mrs. Forbes, of Bereleigh House, will, we understand, be completed at Michaelmas next. A Latin motto, signifying, ‟They will reach the highest point who aspire to the loftiest aims,” will be placed over the front entrance, and the following inscription will be added :— ‟To the honour of God. To the memory of Geo. Forbes, Esq., of Bereleigh, by his widow.”
