MYSTERIOUS DISAPPEARANCE.—Some excitement has been caused in this neighbourhood during the last ten days by the mysterious disappearance of Mr. William Andrews, a farmer, living at Privett, near Alton. He was last seen on the 22nd ultimatum. near the railway station at Petersfield, since which time his friends have been unable to learn any tidings of him. Handbills are in circulation offering a reward for information, and the police are making enquiries in all directions, but hitherto we are sorry to say without success. It is believed that he was not in pecuniary difficulties, and he had money with him when he left home.
