HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY—We are glad to find that the managers of this eminently useful society are making arrangements for the forthcoming season. A meeting of the members is fixed for Monday next, at twelve o'clock, at the National School, when we presume the schedule of prizes, &c., will be determined on, so that the cottagers and others who may wish to compete may know what they have to expect. Few of our local institutions are better entitled to public support than this, based as it is on the principle of helping those who will help themselves.
