ODD FELLOWS’ FUNERAL.—On Tuesday the remains were interred of Mr. Samuel Murrant. aged 31 years, late woodman of Durford, and member of the “Loyal Pride of the Valley Lodge of Odd Fellows.” Between 20 and 30 members assembled at the Dolphin Hotel, and proceeded in full regalia to Sheet, where they met the coffin, attended by the relatives and friends of the deceased. Having formed in order, the funeral procession wended its way to the grounds of the New Cemetry, where the Rev. H. Haigh (honorary member), who was in attendance, impressively read the beautiful service for the dead, and the solemn ceremony terminated.
