PETERSFIELD, Saturday, August 31

     ODDFELLOWS' FUNERAL — On Tuesday the laat solemn rites of sepulture took plaCe upon the remains of Mr. Samuel Morrant, aged 34, late woodman, of Durford, a member of the Loyal Pride  of the Valley Lodgo of the Manchester Unity of Oddfellows. The members, numbering between twenty and thirty, assembled at one o'clook at their lodgeroom, at the Dolphin Hotel, from whence they proceeded in full regalia on to Sheet, where they met the coffin, attended by the relatives and friends of the deceased. Having formed in order, tho funeral procession wended its way to the grounds of the New cemetery, where the Rev. Henry Haigh (honorary member) was in attendance, who impressively read the beautiful service for the dead, and the solemn scene terminated.
