The Patriotic Fond.—We are happy learn that the collections for the relief of the widows and orphans of the brave defenders of our national honour in the war with Russia has just been opened with signal success. The good folks of Petersfield and its vicinity have come forward most liberally. Sir W. Jolliffe, M.P. for Petersfield, and our respected neighbour John Bonham Carter, M.P. for Winchester, have both given handsome donations to the fund.
