PETERSFIELD AND HAMPSHIRE BANK. 

     AT a numerous Meeting of the Creditors of Messrs. Hector, Lacy, and Co. Bankers, Petersfield, convened by public advertisement this 21st day of December, the following Resolution, proposed by Fielder King, Esq. and seconded by Mr. Bowstead, as Agent to Sir Harry Fetherstone, Bart. viz. "That having heard a statement of a negociation entered into by Messrs. Hector, Lacy, and Co. with the London and County Joint Stock Bank, the arrangement concluded with the said Company is perfectly satisfactory to the creditors at large." was unanimously agreed to.

THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION WAS CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY

     Resolved.—That this Meeting has heard with interest and satisfaction the explanation of the principles upon which the London and County Joint Stock Bank is founded, and that in the opinion of this Meeting, the Branch now established at Petersfield will be highly beneficial to the town and its vicinity, and is deserving of public confidence and support.
