PETERSFIELD ELECTION
The committee appointed to try the merits of the petition against the return of the sitting Member, met this morning at 10 o'clock. The Hon. George Lamb, chairman. Mr Sergeant Mereweather opened the case on behalf of the petitioners and the examination of witnesses was proceeding at the time we left.
