The Petersfield Friendly Society's anniversary will take place on Friday 24th inst., at which C J Hector, Esq., the respected member for that borough, is expected to preside according to annual custom, several gentlemen of the neighbourhood will also honour the society with their company. A sermon will be preached at the parish church on the occasion. After dining, a selection of music will be performed by an efficient band, assisted by several eminent vocalists of celebrity.
