PETERSFIELD, October 11.

HEATH FAIR. — This annual fair was held on Monday, when the weather was very favourable. The show of beasts was of good quality, but very limited in quantity, the number being much smaller than on any previous occasion we can remember. The demand was brisk and prices high. The number of sheep penned was also below the average; prices high. There was a much larger number of horses exhibited than usual. It is also needless to say that the favourable character of the day brought a large number of pleasure seekers from the neighbouring villages.
