PETERSFIELD.]—PETTY SESSIONS.—Tuesday, the 23rd instant, being the annual day for licenses, there were several fresh applications, amongst which was one from the two new houses near the Petersfield Railway Station, which were granted in both cases. Application was made for a license for the old Police-station, abutting upon the Petersfield Churchyard, which was also granted, though there is a licensed house on each side of the present applicant, not more than three or four doors distant each way, and there are already nearly twenty licensed houses in the town.
