PETERSFIELD PETTY SESSIONS

     Before the Hon. J. J. Carnegie, Sir J. C. Jervoise, Bart., M.P., J. Bonham Carter, Esq., M.P., J. Waddington, Esq., and Major Briggs.

     The only business before the bench was the verifying and passing the jury lists of the different parishes of the district. There was only one objection to serve, made by Mr. John Ayling, of Hawkley, on account of deafness, which, upon being proved, was allowed.
