SHOOTING PARTRIDGES IN THE SNOW.
John Knowles and Jesse Stephens, labourers, appeared upon summons, charged by George Taylor, gamekeeper to Capt. Edward Chawner, of Greatham Manor House, with shooting partridges, but the only witness a boy, not appearing to substantiate the charge, the case was dismissed.
