PETERSFIELD PETTY SESSIONS, March 24. Present; the Hon. J. J. CARNEGIE, and J. H. WADDINGTON, Esq. 

Trespass.
—Thomas Verison, James Version, Joseph Verison, Benjamin Verison, and Charles Verison, were charged by George Ditton, a gamekeeper in the employ of Sir James Doughty, Tichbourne, Baronet, with being in certain land called the Hanger Woods, in the parish of Priorsdean, in search of game. Mr. Abeney appeared for the defendants, and Mr. Gosfort for the complainant. After many witnesses had been examined the defendants were fined 1s. each and costs.
—George Steel, and two others of Buriton, were charged with being drunk at Buriton, on Sunday, the 8th of March.—Case was settled out of court.

Using Wires.
—William Clark answered to summons for using wire for the purpose of taking game, on the 14th of March, at Froxfield.—Fined £1, and 7. 6d. costs, and in default committed for one month to Winchester gaol.
—John Budd was summoned for stealing turnip greens, the property of Mr. Charles Parr, on the 7th March, at Steep.—Case dismissed.

Charge of Stealing Two Basins.
—George Parfoot, of Froxfield, was charged with stealing two basins. The prosecutor did not appear.—Case dismissed.
