PETERSFIELD YOUNG MEN'S IMPROVEMENT SOCIETY. — This useful society held its first meeting on Thursday, under the presidency of the Rev. M. A. Smelt, when the business matters of the present session were arranged, officers elected, and a programme of the proceedings for the half of the session up to Christmas drawn up and ordered to be printed.
