ROGATE.

ODD FELLOWSHIP.—We have been requested to write a brief report of the proceedings of the meeting of the Loyal ‟Pride of the Valley” Lodge, M.U., held at the Dolphin Hotel, Petersfield, on Tuesday evening, the 10th inst., and the request we attend to with much pleasure. It was the evening for electing officers to manage the next 12 months’ business. Two new members were admitted. The officers chosen were as follows: N.G., Mr. Joseph Cole; V.G., Mr. Ezra Bradley; secretary, Mr. Ebenezer Durman (re-elected); auditors, Mr. George Smart and Mr. Charles Marshall; delegates to attend the next district meeting, Mr. Ebenezer Durman and Mr. Wm. Bailey, jun. The lodge altogether is in a most flourishing condition, but we shall speak more fully of it in an early issue, as the accounts will be audited in a few days. We see by the last quarterly report of this vast Unity, which now numbers nearly 340,000 members, that not less than 40 lodges were opened in the quarter, ten of which are in Australia, two or three in India, and others in various parts of the globe. The whole Unity consists of nearly 6,000 lodges.
