PROLIFIC YIELD—A very superior bed of Spanish onions has, this year, been produced in the garden of the Petersfield Union, where, amongst some exceedingly fine specimens of this useful bulb, is one measuring 19 Inches round, and weighing 3 lbs. all but 2 ounces. In the same well managed garden, three bushels of seed potatoes ‟The Farmer’s Glory,” have yielded 40 bushels of fine tubers perfectly free from blight or disease.
