IMPERIAL PARLIAMENT.

HOUSE OF COMMONS.—MONDAY

THE MILITIA

Sir W. JOLLIFFE (Petersfield) wished to ask a question of great importance to the public at large. It was, when did the Government hope to lay before the House the bill for the enrolment of the militia to which the noble lord had alluded in his general statement?

Sir G. GREY (North Northumberland) said ample notice would be given of the introduction of the bill. It would certainly not be before Easter.
