RAILWAY EXCURSION TO PORTSMOUTH.—An opportunity was afforded by the Railway Company of making a trip to the seaside on Monday last by a cheap excursion train, which left Guildford at 9.5. a.m., returning in the evening. The weather having been for some time past so extremely uninviting to pleasure-seekers, no doubt, prevented many from availing themselves of the opportunity, although a considerable number did so, and the day proved tolerably fine.
