     Thomas Upfield, labourer, was charged with travelling in a third-class carriage on the South Western Railway from Petersfield to Midhurst, without a ticket, and refused to pay. The prisoner pleaded guilty, and said he had met with some friends with whom he had partaken of drink, which had overcome him. Fined 10s. 6d. including costs.
