PETERSFIELD GAS COMPANY

     THE Directors are willing to receive Tenders for the Erection of Works, providing and laying PIPES, and doing other matters necessary to SUPPLY the Town of Petersfield with White’s Hydro Carbon Patent GAS.

     The Contractor must arrange with the Patentee respecting his rights as Patentee.

     The length of main required will be about 1000 yards of two-inch pipe, and 400 yards of three-inch pipe, four-inch pipe, and the number of public Lamps will be about thirty.

     The Directors do not pledge themselves to take the lowest Tender.

     Tenders containing plans, full specifications of the Works to be done with the prices for such Works in detail, and of the time required to complete the same, are to be sent on or before the 20th of September next, to the office of Messrs. Mitchell and Minty, Solicitors, Petersfield, Hants.
