WINCHESTER.

     CRICKET.—The return match between the South-Western and Petersfield clubs was played on the Roebuck Ground, and again resulted in the former club being the winners by the first innings, the game not being played out. In the former match, at the drawing of the stumps, the South-Western had 31 runs to get, and with eight wickets to go down, and on this occasion 16 runs, with four wickets to go down. The score was, Petersfield, first innings, 92; second innings, 43; total, 135. South-Western, first innings, 58; second innings, 62; total, 120, with six wickets down.

PETERSFIELD v. THE SOUTH-WESTERN CLUB, (WINCHESTER)

    The return match between the above clubs came off on the Roebuck Ground at Winchester, on Monday, when the wickets being pitched, Underdown and Marden took the willow, and scored 54 runs before they parted. We are unable to give the score, but the match was decided by 34 runs in the first innings in favour of Petersfield, not being able to play out the whole of the innings for want of time. There was some excellent play on both sides.

SOUTH WESTERN (WINCHESTER) v. PETERSFIELD.

     The return match between these clubs came off on Monday, on the Roebuck ground, Winchester, when again the Petersfield were the victors by the first innings, the game not having been played out as the Petersfield headed their opponents in the first innings by 34, and at the drawing of stumps, Winchester had only 16 runs to get and four wickets to go down.
