IN THE COUNTY COURT OF HAMPSHIRE, AT PETERSFIELD.

      WHEREAS a PETITION of the Reverend JOHN LAKE BARTON, formerly of the Parish of Hambledon, In the County of Southampton, then of the Parish of Feltham, in the County of Middlesex, afterwards of Grove-road, Southsea, in the Parish of Portsea, in the County of Southampton, then of No. 5, Gloucester-place, Southsea, aforesaid, afterwards of Grove-road, Southsea, aforesaid, and now of Hinton Lodge, in the parish of Catherington, in the said County of Southampton; and during all the time aforesaid being a Schoolmaster and Clerk in Holy Orders, an Insolvent Debtor, having been filed in the County Court of Hampshire, at Petersfield, and an Interim Order for Protection from Process having been given to the said Reverend John Lake Barton, under the provisions of the Statutes in that case made and provided, the said Reverend John Lake Barton is hereby required to appear at the next Court to be holden at the Town-hall, at Petersfield aforesaid, on the 15th day of April next, at eleven o’clock in the forenoon precisely, for his first examination touching his Debts, Estate, and Effects, and to be further dealt with according to the provisions of the said Statutes: and Notice is hereby given, that the choice of Assignees is to take place at the time so appointed.

     All persons indebted to the said Reverend John Lake Barton, or who have any of his Effects, are not to pay or deliver the same but to Mr. Charles John Mellersh, the Clerk of the said County Court, at Petersfield, the Official Assignee acting in the matter of said Petition.
