PETERSFIELD.]—LOOK OUT FOR THE REVENUE OFFICERS.—Some suspicion having been entertained recently against Mr. Weeks, maltster, &c., of Oxenbourne, in the parish of Eastmeon, Mr. Supervisor Conner, of Petersfield, with his subordinate from Hambledon, paid an early and unexpected visit to the malthouse, and made a seizure of a large couch of barley, just fit for the kiln, the whole of which was seized and sent by the officers to Mr. John Dear’s, of Eastmeon, to be dried into malt. In a few days, it is expected, this case will be brought under the notice of the Magistrates.
