PETERSFIELD. —The Savings Bank is removed to the house of Mr. Duplock, in the High-street, who has just been appointed Actuary, in the room of Mr. Flood, resigned. The latter gentleman has held the office from the commencement of the Bank in 1842, and the able and efficient manner in which he has discharged the duties will be seen from the following resolution which was unanimously passed at an unusually full meeting of the trustees and managers held for the appointment of a successor to the office :

‟That the thanks of the Trustees and Managers of the Savings’ Bank be tendered to Mr. Flood, on his retirement from the office of Actuary, for the able, upright, correct, and zealous manner in which he has discharged its duties.”
