PETERSFIELD AND SOUTHAMPTON RAILWAY.
—The Direct London and Portsmouth Railway Company have given ORDERS for the SURVEY of a LINE between Southampton and their Railway at or near PETERSFIELD, which will connect the town and Port of Southampton directly with London-bridge, and afford railway accommodation to a large district in Hampshire and of Sussex.
