PETERSFIELD, HANTS.

     THE Inspectors appointed for Lighting the Town of Petersfield, in the county of Southampton, by virtue of an Act of Parliament passed in the third and fourth years of the reign of his late Majesty King William the Fourth, cap. 90, do hereby Give Notice, that they are desirous of receiving Proposals from any Person or Persons willing to undertake the LIGHTING the STREETS, ROADS, and other Places of, or in, the said Town, and to furnish LAMPS, Lamp Irons, Lamp Posts, and other things; and that it is the intention of such Inspectors to enter into a Contract with the Person or Persons whose proposals for the purpose shall be accepted.

     Persons desiring to Tender for the above Contract may obtain all needful information by application to the Secretary, H. Calvert, Square, Petersfield, to whom Tenders must be sent on or before the 23rd day of August next.

     The Inspectors will not be bound to accept the lowest or an only Tender.
