HANTS CONSTABULARY

     The County Finance Committee are prepared to receive TENDERS from Persons willing to supply the County Police Horses with GOOD SWEET CLEAN OATS, weighing not less than 37lb. per bushel, for one year, from the 17th proximo, to be delivered carriage free, in such quantities as the Chief Constable may from time to time direct, at the following Police or Railway stations; such tenders to include the use of sacks, viz.

     Tenders to be delivered at the Chief Constable’s Office, Winchester, on or before the 2nd proximo. The names of two sureties willing to become bound for the due performance of the contract must accompany each tender.

     The Committee do not bind themselves to accept the lowest or any tender.

     The quantity required will be about 200 quarters.
