WAR DEPARTMENT PROPERTY. 

     TO be LET, with Immediate Possession,—The COTTAGE called ‟LONGMOOR LODGE,” late in the occupation of Government Warder Dixon, situate in the Parish of Petersfield, about half-a-mile from Thele Bridge, on the road to Liss, and about the same distance from the Pond at Woolmer Forest, in the County of Hants.

     The Property comprises a living-room, two bed-rooms, larder, pantry, coal and wood shed, a well of water, and about 3 roods 24 perches of garden and pasture land; and may be seen on application to Warder Cray, of Pond Cottage.

     The Property will be let from year to year, subject to three months’ notice (terminable upon any quarter day) given by either party.

     The Conditions and Forms of Tender for renting the Property may be obtained of the Commanding Royal Engineer, at this office, when satisfactory references will be required.

     The Tenders to be filled up and forwarded to the Director of Contracts, War Office, Pall Mall, London, S.W., on or before the 31st instant, in a cover endorsed, ‟Tender for ‛Longmoor Cottage.’”
