PETERSFIELD.—A lecture, in connection with the Library and Reading Room, was delivered at the Town Hall, on Tuesday evening last, by Mr. R. G. P. Minty, on the Archæology of the Middle Ages. The lecture was illustrated by numerous diagrams and drawings, executed in a very superior style, and exhibiting with striking effect the successive architectural eras, from the Conquest to the reign of Henry the 7th. The thanks of the company were unanimously accorded to the lecturer, on the motion of the Rev. W. Sealy, seconded by J. Light, Esq.
