Farnham and Petersfield Turnpike Road.

     NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN—That the Trustees under an Act passed in the 7th year of the reign of his late Majesty King George the Fourth intituled An Act for making and maintaining a Road from a place called Coxbridge, near Farnham, in the County of Surrey, to Ramshill, near Petersfield, in the County of Southampton, will meet at the Spread Eagle, Liss in the said County of Southampton, on the 27th day of September at half-past twelve o’clock in the afternoon, in order to consult as to removing the Toll Bar now erected across the said road, in the village of Liss, in the said County of Southampton, and erecting in lieu thereof a Toll Bar or Toll Gate, together with a Toll House attached thereto, at some more suitable spot between Greetham Lane End, in the Parish of Greetham, in the said county of Southampton, and the Bell Public House, in the said parish of Liss and also to consult about removing and discontinuing the Toll Gate on the said road, called Greetham Gate, in the parish of Greetham, aforesaid, and erecting in lieu thereof another Toll Gate at some suitable spot between Greetham Lane End aforesaid and the said Bell Public House, in the parish of Liss, aforesaid.
