The Advertiser, a VILLAGE CURATE,

is desirous of receiving from any clergymen so disposed, a recommendation of two persons, as TEACHERS in a small VILLAGE SCHOOL; a man competent to take a charge of a boy's evening school in reading, arithmetic, and writing, and to teach a few adults to read, and who has sufficient experience in flower and vegetable gardening, and in the stable, to look after a small garden and one horse and chaise; and a woman, qualified to teach as above, with needlework, in a day school for girls and boys, and to render help in a Sunday school. The advertiser has adopted this means, hoping to be guided, through the conscientious assistance of his brethren, in choosing teachers, not only of active, cleanly, and honest habits, but of such mature and religious principles, as that they may discharge their duty with affection and Christian perseverance. The salary is 40 guineas a year, with a cottage rent-free.—Address, E. M. Post-office, Compton, Petersfield.
