PETERSFIELD.

THE HARVEST.—The favourable change in the weather since the 15th inst., and up to Tuesday evening, the 22nd, has caused the harvesting operations to proceed rapidly, and a large quantity of wheat, barley, and oats, have been secured in fine condition in this locality. On Wednesday a sudden change took place, and during the day the rain poured down literally in torrents. A change since for the best has caused several hop growers to commence picking their crops, the yield of which is exceedingly good in many gardens.
