PETERSFIELD.]—Since the new moon of Monday last a favourable change has taken place in the weather, which has enabled the farmers in this neighbourhood to renew their harvest operations with fresh vigour. A large breadth of land has been cleared of wheat, but a great quantity secured is much damaged In confined places by the late continual showers. There is still much complaint of the disease in potatoes, which seems to be very prevalent in this useful and profitable esculent.

No alteration in the price of bread this week ; the present price of the best quality is 8d. the 4lb. loaf.
