MISS ANN PHILLIPS' CHARITY.— The proceeds of this charity were distributed in bread as usual on St. Thomas's and Christmas days; the number of recipients this year was about sixty, being (according to the terms of the bequest) poor men and women residing in and belonging to the parish of Petersfield, who have attained the age of 52 years.

We are glad to learn that during the late inclement weather the poor of our town have not been forgotten; a subscription has been raised, as in former years, for the purpose of purchasing coals to be sold to the poor at a very low price.
